Inbound flights (Silver distance etc.) are very welcome but strictly Prior Permission Required so please telephone (01568 708369)
to advise your approximate arrival time before take-off.
Call "Shobdon Information" on 123.50Mhz before entering the ATZ and make calls in the circuit
as may be requested. The glider circuit is always north of the airfield with landings normally on the grass strip to the north of the tarmac runway.
If you need enter the Shobdon ATZ or to land en-route on a cross country then make a call to "Shobdon Information" on 123.50Mhz. as early
as practical to advise your intentions.
In periods of exceptionally high volimes of traffic, PPR by radio may be problematic.
